Join AWC Korea

The benefits of becoming an AWC member are many. But perhaps the biggest is the feeling of belonging to a vibrant and close-knit community when you're far from home.

Your AWC Membership includes:

  • Monthly Coffee Mornings with Featured Speakers (A small fee is charged at the door.)
  • Subscription to Arirang Magazine
  • Invitations to all AWC events (Including our Christmas Tea and Spring Luncheon)
  • Email updates and other information regarding various events and interests throughout Seoul along with exposure to many of the worthwhile Korean charities AWC supports.
  • Members-only web access to our Membership Directory. 

Step 1

 1.Click on the Membership Application Form Link (The application is in a Word format)

 2. Select Save to your computer,

 3. Open the document in Word and fill it out.

 4. Complete a bank transfer (if you cannot perform a bank transfer, bring the application and your membership fee to the next Coffee Morning.

From the time we receive your membership form and fee, you will be on our mailing list, receive Arirang magazine, and be allowed to log in and access our Membership Directory and monthly Newsletter archive.


Step 2

AWC Membership pricing is as follows:

  • KRW 50,000 - Regular Membership (U.S. citizens or spouses of U.S. citizens)
  • KRW 50,000 - Associate Membership (Non-U.S. citizens)
  • KRW 35,000 - Thrift Shop volunteers maintaining a minimum of required hours
  • KRW 35,000 - U.S. Military (including AFWC)
  • KRW 35,000 - U.S. Embassy personnel

Please write your first initial (if you can) and last name as the sender (if the form is not in your name) when you make the electronic transaction. If you are unable to transfer the money electronically, please pay us directly the first time you see us at the monthly Coffee Morning. (Handwritten applications may also be submitted at that time.) Once you have paid your membership fee, you can obtain your membership card at any AWC event. We do not mail the card to you.
