FAWCO - SEOUL 2008

In 2008, AWC Korea, hosted the international FAWCO conference. The hard work and dedication of our members made it an event to remember.

Bev Soden, 2008 AWC President, greets members at a FAWCO reception in Seoul

Seminars and meetings were enjoyed by all.

Dedicated AWC Korea volunteers ensured that all went smoothly, and

there was plenty of time to tour Seoul and see the sights before all the international members returned to their homes all over the world.

Pam Smith and Nancy Botcheller recently attended FAWCO's Boston 2010 Conference, "MAKING hISTORY." They return with fun new ideas and lots of info that is invaluable for expat AWC women in Korea. Their energy and enthusiasm in attending the conference, and their eagerness to share all the information they obtained, is a great benefit for our members. When you see something new and fun pop up in the club, chances are Nancy, Pam, and the FAWCO Boston 2010 Conference are behind it!

For those of you returning to the United States, you may wish to consider becoming involved with FAUSA - FAWCO Alumnae USA. This group is especially helpful for expatriates returning to the USA. The mission of FAUSA is to facilitate the repatriation experience of its members and to help them maintain their international ties in order to bring about a better understanding between the US and other nations.
