The American Women's Club of Korea would like to thank our corporate benefactors for their generous support. Below are a few of the ways these corporations provide support not only to AWC but to many worthy causes around the world.

Songdo IBD supports underprivilieged children in Incheon by sponsoring a monthly Play Day at after-school centers. These are the children who are not fortunate enough to attend academies or receive tutoring. Yet they are Korea's citizens of tomorrow who will be expected to thrive in a global environment.

KEB sponsors charity events/concerts as well as supporting non-profit organizations, hoping to create a community whose members enjoy life to the fullest.

KEB is also planning on supporting volunteering activities and educational events for children living in isolated areas. We are currently supporting children and young adults with promising futures through the sponsorship of children’s soccer teams, children only events and free seminars.

Citibank considers charity work to be a natural part of its business activities and partnership between companies and non-profit organizations to be one of the key values of a healthy civil society. Citibank is aware of the importance of considering the society in which it does its business. In this respect, Citibank has endeavoured to support various good causes.

Chosun Ilbo supports our AWC Hello Friends volunteer program. Hello Friends sends volunteers to visit schools throughout Korea and introduce English to young schoolchildren. It is, however, an outreach program and is not intended as an English Teaching course.

Chevron's charitable programs are anchored in partnerships with governments, communities, local and international nongovernmental organizations, and development agencies. We have built a number of partnerships on trust, transparency, mutual learning and a common purpose to promote human progress and economic development. We address social issues by working together and delivering results "on the ground."
Prudential's commitment to communities is long-standing and strongly held. We believe that we have an obligation to contribute to the cities where we live and work. Through the efforts of the company's Community Resources Department and in the projects led by Prudential volunteers, we strive to tangibly improve the lives and living conditions of our neighbors.
